About the software...

This software package is about one of the best tools I have yet encountered in my teaching career, apart from my laptop of course.

I used to use Dreamweaver to create my own teaching websites, but this program converts an 80 hr dreamweaver session to 2 hrs. It is so easy to use.

It has helped me organise my multimedia, multi-resources, multi-stressed out teaching program into an organised, once-only creation. I use it to organise my mind; to teach my classes using the interactive whiteboard or a projector; to collate all my multimedia resources in one place; and for my students home study strategies 24/7.

My goal is:

• to enable students to become empowered autonomous learners 
• to be a learning facilitator who has time to do the fun engaging stuff in the classroom whilst the students do the work 
• to focus on strengthening weak areas of a study plan within a time poor arena, 
• to harness the power of our technology rich, information overloaded ICT world and make it practical, assessible, useful and relevant to my students course of study.  

Hopefully, this ICT website will inspire and encourage your own autonomous teaching and learning curve. For me, this is a project in progress....(as I get time...or really, as I steal time!)...I am still learning the multi-facets of this program myself.

As you get into it, it does become addictive, and you will find that you will not be able to prepare lessons without it as it makes lesson planning soooo systematic and practical. Collating resources in an organised fashion, and being able to find it again fast, is a teacher's dream.
